Heat Suppression System

(secondary barrier)

Rig side nozzles are fitted to stainless steel standpipes which are strategically installed at regular intervals along each side of the rig forming the secondary cooling barrier. they provide protection to personnel and rig structures from the radiated heat projected from the flare.

Nozzles can be positioned in front of identified hot spots, such as lifeboats, bulk hoses and specific work areas which may be exposed.

Reflective Heat Shield

(tertiary barrier)

This final barrier comes in the form of canvas heat shield which can be positioned in front of identified hot spots.

These covers also protect the rig equipment from saltwater ingress.

Burner Boom Cooling System

(primary barrier)

The burner boom cooling system is installed behind the burner head on the flare boom to form the primary barrier. The installation features nozzles that are specifically designed to ensure no fall out is created through water impinging onto the flare. The system can be installed onshore or offshore, with a collapsible design to allow for easy storage.
